The Wallace House is a lovingly restored farmhouse that now offers guest stays as part of Saint Paul Farms properties. Adjacent to the farmhouse are orchards, a cidery, a vineyard and tasting room. Originally built in the 1800’s, the Wallace house was completely renovated in 2019 to preserve historical integrity while offering modern amenities and conveniences. Beautiful architectural detail is found throughout, as well as spacious meeting areas, brightly lit rooms, and a gourmet kitchen.<\/p><\/div>

The Carolina Bed & Breakfast, a Richard Sharp Smith designed home, has had a number of loving caretaker owners. Under their guidance and care, the house and gardens have been beautifully restored. Heart pine floors glow in the sunlight and the original coal fireplaces in the spacious bedrooms have been retrofitted with gas for your comfort and enjoyment. The public rooms and front porch are much loved by guests who choose to relax there and the kitchen functions at the center of the house providing guests with homemade breakfasts and treats. The Carolina Bed & Breakfast, an Arts & Crafts Style house, is a fine example of Richard Sharp Smith\u2019s preference for pebble-dash, shingles, high-pitched roofs, and heavy stone foundations.<\/p><\/div>

Black Walnut Bed & Breakfast Inn was designed and built by the supervising architect for The Biltmore Estate, Richard Sharp-Smith, in 1899. The Inn has been beautifully maintained and has retained its historic character and charm, with half-timbering pebbledash walls, original diamond-paned windows and a corner turret. Modern improvements, such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and private bath en-suites, have been added to the Inn without sacrificing the original quality, workmanship, and details<\/p><\/div>
